GENERAL EMERGENCY PROCEDURES

Steps to take in all emergency situations:

·   Remain calm

·   Call 911 for local police department

·   Contact the Campus Police Department at 504-671-6111

·   Give your name

·   Describe the type of situation (medical, criminal etc.)

·   Give the location be specific

·   If known provide the identity of individuals involved

·   Remain with the person in crisis

·   Do not move the victim
