GENERAL EMERGENCY PROCEDURES

 

 

Steps to take in all emergency situations:

Remain calm

•

 

Call 911 for local police department

•

 

Contact the Campus Police Department at 504-671-6111

•

 

Give your name

•

 

Describe the type of situation (medical, criminal etc.)

•

 

Give the location be specific

•

 

If known provide the identity of individuals involved

•

 

Remain with the person in crisis

•

 

Do not move the victim
