SUMMARY

Enrollment increased 23.3% from Fall 2000 (12,784) to Fall 2004 (16,669).

Enrollment for Fall 2004 is our highest enrollment ever, although only a 1% increase over Fall 2003.

Female students increased by 26.9% over the 5 years; male students increased by only 15.2%.
Our female student enrollment is now 70% of the total.

African American enrollment increased by 28.4% over the 5 years. Hispanic enrollment decreased
by 5.5%. Caucasian enrollment increased by 11.1%.

Charity Campus had the largest increase overall with 46% gain in enrollment. West Bank campus
continues to be a fast growing campus with a 27.6% increase over 5 years.

Enrollment at the Northshore site increased 16.3%, and City Park campus by 10.5%.

Transfer students increases by 28.6%; continuing students increased by 26.5%. First-time
freshman increased 13%.

Nursing and Pre-Nursing had the largest number increase (2,068) over the 5 years.

Legal Secretary, Horticulture, Practical Nursing, Pharmacy Technician, Nuclear Medicine,
Diagnostic Medical Sonography had significant increases in program enrollment since 2000.

Computer Network Technology, Computer Information Technology, Fire Protection Technology,
Occupational Therapy Assistant, and Physical Therapy Assisting had significant decreases
in program enrollment.
