Final 14th Class Day Report
Spring 2005

By The Office of Institutional Research
Our enrollment continues to increase, but at a lower rate than in the fall.
It increased 2% over Spring 2004.
Hispanic enrollment increased by 12%. African American enrollment increased by 2%.
White enrollment decreased slightly by 0.4%.
African American students are the largest ethnic group at Delgado making up 43%
of the students attending Delgado.
57% of our students are minorities.
Both Male and Female enrollment increased by only 2%.
The Northshore Site had the largest increase at 11%. Charity School of
Nursing follows with 10%. City Park increased by 1%. West Bank Campus had an 1% decrease.
The age group of 18 years and under decreased by 14%. Age group of 50 - 64 year olds increased by 30%.
Part time increased from 9,268 to 9,677.
First-time Freshmen decreased 13%, Readmitted students increased by 16%.
Nursing majors (including pre-nursing) increased by 9%. Physical Therapy Assistant increased by 14%.
Computer Information Technology decreased by 29%
Enrollment from St.Tammany Parish increased 11%.
