Revision of Grading Policies:
Reading courses will use the following
grading system: “D” or “F” – Repeat the same course; “A,” “B,” or “C” –
Developmental Reading requirement met by coursework and Exit
examination: no additional coursework in READ is required. “YA,”
“YB,” or “YC” – students must continue another semester in READ
courses as skills as demonstrated by Exit examination do not equate to
reading proficiency at the college level. Motion to accept proposal
