2010 CCSSE Student Faculty Comparison

The CCSSE student survey used a random sample of students to fill out the survey. The CCFSSE was voluntary
and all faculty were invited to participate.
The faculty survey had an additional answer (Don't know). In this comparison, this answer was factored out, to
make the comparision meaningful.
Dispite the differences in the two surveys, the comparison in this report is thought provoking. In some cases the
difference in perception between faculty and students is quite large.
Although the questions are the same, the methodology for collecting the data was different for the two surveys.
One should keep these differences in mind when viewing the results.

The data in this report came from 2 separate surveys. One being the CCSSE survey that the students filled out,
the other being the CCFSSE, the survey the faculty filled out.
