The average number of hours attempted decreases slightly in the second semester.
The average number of credits earned, however, drops significantly, making the
second semester a critical semester for students. A study by Noel Levitz indicates that
this is a nationwide trend.
While the cohort is defined as first-time, full-time students,
by the Fall 2010 semester, 40% of the students still enrolled
have become part-time students.
