GENERAL EMERGENCY PROCEDURES

Steps to take in all emergency situations:

�   Remain calm

�   Call 911 for local police department

�   Contact the Campus Police Department at 504-671-6111

�   Give your name

�   Describe the type of situation (medical, criminal etc.)

�   Give the location be specific

�   If known provide the identity of individuals involved

�   Remain with the person in crisis

�   Do not move the victim
