OPERATIONAL FEE [House Bill 993 (2004) Re: LRS 17:3351(A) (5) (d)] General Description: Authorized by the 2004 State Legislature, the Operational Fee is not to exceed four percent of the total mandatory tuition and fee amount in effect for each institution on August 15, 2004.
Proportional amounts will be assessed as applicable to part-time students and to students enrolled for summer and intersession terms.
The fee shall be in addition to any other tuition or fees and charges established by the Board and the fee shall be paid by ALL students.
